Fees

New fees effective July 2nd 2024:

Initial Session (75 min.): $150 - $195

Adult (18+): Regular Session: (50 min.): $150 - $195

Youth (6-24): Regular Session (45 min.): $150

Couple/Family (75 min): $225

cancellation policy

Your appointment time is our commitment to you. While we understand that sometimes things come up, we ask that 48 hours notice be given for cancellations. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will require payment of the full fee. Two consecutive cancellations will result in a quick review regarding availability and outside commitments. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you.

There are several options that may be available to help you with the costs of your therapy.

BENEFits & Insurance

Extended health benefit plans may cover some or all of the costs of counselling with a Social Worker (May) or Registered Psychotherapist (Marilyn); check with your workplace benefit package.

If you have coverage through Veteran’s Affairs Canada (Medavie Blue Cross), you can request to see May and if approved, your fees will be fully or partially covered for a certain number of sessions.

Additional

The cost of counselling or psychotherapy by a Registered Social Worker is now recognized by the Canada Revenue Agency as an eligible medical expense for income tax purposes.
